aQuantive Names Wayne Wisehart Chief Financial Officer

 

SEATTLE – March, 15, 2006 – aQuantive, Inc. (Nasdaq: AQNT), a digital marketing company, today announced the appointment of Wayne Wisehart to the position of chief financial officer (CFO), effective March 27, 2006.  Wisehart will replace Michael Vernon, who will continue with aQuantive during a transition period.

Wisehart most recently served as CFO of Western Wireless, a cellular phone service provider based in the Seattle-area, which was acquired by Alltel last year for $6.5 billion.  Previously, he was CFO of iNNERHOST, a web hosting services company, and president and CEO of Teledirect International, a marketing automation software company.  In addition, Wisehart spent more than 15 years in the telecommunications business serving as president and CEO of Price Communications Wireless, now part of Verizon Wireless, CFO of Palmer Communications and its subsidiary, Palmer Wireless, and subsequently for Price Communications Wireless after it acquired Palmer Wireless in 1997.

 

Michael Vernon, who joined aQuantive in 2000, announced in November his plan to depart after more than five years in the CFO role.
